BHS Soccer Coaching Changes

I would like to announce that I am stepping down from the head coaching position for BHS boys soccer. I have really enjoyed the past five years with the boys and am sure that they will continue to do well. John Barron has been hired to coach the boys and I am sure he will do an excellent job. I will be moving up the road to coach at Mountain View HS this fall.

With my move to MVHS for the boys, the new athletic director decided to go in a different direction with the girls program as well, and did not invite me back to coach the girls in the spring. I am disappointed in the decision, but will take the opportunity to look for new challenges.

I will still be running private camps and clinics, if you are interested you can get info at Net Results Soccer Training.

Thanks to everyone--players, parents, school staff--who has helped me with the BHS soccer programs, and the best of luck to the teams this coming year.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Nutrition and Hydration

Proper nutrition and hydration, covered in this handout. Parents can help by making sure players have food and drink for practices and game days.

Stay in Shape

Fitness is a year-round activity. Boys and girls will have fitness standards to meet coming in to the season, and it's easier to stay in shape than to get in shape. Start using the Preseason Fitness Program and off-season weightlifting program now to be ready for the start of the soccer season.
